INTRODUCTION: 

This Service Information Bulletin outlines design changes made to the coolant hoses for the CVT fluid cooler and the spring-type clamps used to secure them.

 

PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION:

The new coolant hoses and clamps were incorporated into production per the starting VIN table below:

PART INFORMATION:

REMINDER:  Always order the most up-to-date replacement parts based on the specific VIN being repaired.

 

NOTES:

• The new coolant hoses appear the same as the originals except for the outer diameter which is 1mm smaller (the inner diameter remains unchanged).
• The new clamps are now black

and silver (instead of all silver) as shown in the illustration.  They also have a 2.1mm smaller inside diameter to work with the new hoses.

VERY IMPORTANT:  There is NO interchangeability between the old and new -style parts.

NEVER use an old -style clamp on a new -style hose and / or vice-versa.
