The new headlamp assemblies were incorporated into production starting with VIN J9839581.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When replacing affected assemblies under Warranty, the “Lens and Body” part numbers must be used for the repair NOT the complete assemblies.

IMPORTANT: When either headlamp is confirmed to have the described condition, BOTH left and right must be replaced as a set.
The service procedures for headlamp replacement remain unchanged. Always refer to the applicable Service Manual and review the full requirements of the repair being performed. This includes but is not limited to: important SAFETY precautions, proper inspection criteria, necessary special tools, required processes and related one-time-use parts needed for a complete and lasting repair.
