NUMBER: 12-311-21 DATE: 02/25/21 APPLICABILITY: 2018-21MY Crosstrek SUBJECT: Side Cowl Panel Trim- Design Change INTRODUCTION: This bulletin announces a design change made to the windshield side cowl panels to address isolated concerns of a buzzing / rattle -type sound heard while driving. The size of the foam cushion portion and the production process to secure it to the part have been optimized to prevent the condition. PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION: The new COWL PANEL-SIDE trims were incorporated into Crosstrek production starting with VIN MH277078. PART INFORMATION: Description Part Number COWL PANEL- SIDE, RIGHT 91423FL001 COWL PANEL- SIDE, LEFT 91423FL011 REMINDER: Always order the most up-to-date replacement parts based on the specific VIN being repaired.
