Disconnect battery cable from the negative battery stud.

Using a nylon trim tool, carefully remove the upper trim cover from the compass mirror.

Using your fingers disengage and separate the lower mirror trim cover at the High Beam Assist sensor opening and remove the cover halves.

Unplug the Compass mirror.

Firmly grasp the Compass mirror and remove by rotating the base and pulling away simultaneously from the windshield mounting button.

On the new Compass mirror with HomeLink, apply protective masking tape on the High Beam Assist Sensor

1. Install the Compass mirror with HomeLink by aligning the mirror retention clips with the windshield mirror button and pressing against the mirror to fully seat the mirror.
2. Rotate the mirror until properly aligned with the reference notch shown

1. Remove protective tape from High Beam Assist sensor.
2. Reinstall lower mirror trim covers and ensure all clips are fully engaged.
3. Reinstall the upper trim cover and ensure the trim cover is fully seated.

Reconnect battery. If equipped reconnect eyelet cable. Tighten bolt to 66 in-lbs.
