INTRODUCTION
This bulletin announces a design change to the roof rail assembly to address customer concerns of gapping between the rail’s sealing portions and the vehicle roof panel as shown in the photo below.
Production Change Information:
The new roof rails were incorporated into production starting with VIN G3282412.
Part Information:
The part numbers for the roof rails will remain unchanged:
- 91151AL01A (ROOF RAIL ASSEMBLY LEFT)
- 91151AL00A (ROOF RAIL ASSEMBLY RIGHT)
Service Procedure / Information:
After confirmation of the customer concern, replace the affected roof rail assembly following the procedure in the applicable Service Manual. It is NOT necessary to replace the roof rails as a set.
Warranty / Claim Information:
For vehicles within the Basic New Car Limited Warranty period, this repair may be submitted using the following claim information:
