INTRODUCTION
This bulletin provides information regarding design changes to the rear combination lamp assembly to prevent fogging and accumulation of condensation. These changes involve:
- An Anti-Fog coating is now applied during production to the inner surface of the outer lens.
- Additional ventilation added to the bottom portion of the housing.
- Revised shape and locations for the 4 existing ventilation holes.
COUNTERMEASURE IN PRODUCTION
The revised rear combination lamps were incorporated into production during July, 2014 starting with VIN E*330494.

SERVICE PROCEDURE / INFORMATION
When replacing the combination lamp assembly, follow the procedure outlined in the applicable Service Manual. Only the affected side combination lamp should be replaced unless the condition has been confirmed on both.
