Be sure to read this manual before installing the product, and correctly install the product according to the instructions. Park the vehicle on level ground, apply the parking brake, and chock the wheels. 2. Organize and keep the removed vehicle parts including screws, bolts and nuts in separate containers so that those small parts will not be lost and can be restored correctly. In addition, be extremely careful not to damage the vehicle or the removed parts. 3. Handle the battery according to the service manual. 4. In order to prevent damage to the vehicle parts and the product, be sure to use protective sheets when removing and installing them. When installing the parts: Use the tools that are the right size for the operation. •Pay attention to the back side and do not allow any wire harness to get caught. After the completion of the installation: •Be sure to restore all the vehicle parts that have been removed. CAUTION Follow the instructions in the service manual. clicks Tools Required Combination wrench (10 mm), Phillips and flat-head screwdrivers, Torque screwdriver, Clip remover, Protective tape, and Protective sheets or Blankets. 2 Product after Installation Sport Grille Installation Procedure Air Intake Duct Plastic Clip × 2 1. Removing the Air Intake Duct ⑴ Remove the two plastic clips, and detach the air intake duct from the vehicle. CAUTION The removed vehicle parts will be reused, so be careful not to misplace them. (Do the same throughout the rest of the procedure) TG-BZ-A06 3 Plastic Clip × 3 2. Removing the Front Upper Cover ⑴ Remove the three plastic clips, and detach the cover. Front Upper Cover TG-BZ-A07 3. Applying Protective Tape ⑴ Apply protective tape to the shaded area as shown in the illustration. ⑵ Perform the same for the other side. Protective Tape Front Bumper Plastic Clip B Fender Liner Plastic Clip A × 4 TG-BZ-A01 4. Removing the Front Bumper ⑴ Remove the plastic clip A from the four locations and clip B from the one location in order to unfasten the front bumper, and create an opening by partially detaching the front bumper and fender liner so that your hand can access the fog light. ⑵ Perform the same for the other side. < Vehicles equipped with fog lights and sensors > ⑶ Remove the fog light connector LH and the sensor connector LH. ⑷ Perform the same for the other side. <Vehicles equipped with fog lights and sensors> Sensor Connector LH Fog Light LH Fog Light Connector LH CAUTION Be extremely careful not to injure your hands or arms when removing the connectors. This sensor harness is for front side radar. US&Canada: Without this equipment EU: With this equipment SBR will export the Sport Grille to SOA & SE. Front Bumper TG-CB-A02 4 <Vehicles equipped with headlight washers> Top View < Vehicles equipped with headlight washers > ⑸ Pull out the headlight washer nozzle LH, disengage the claw, and detach the cover. Claw Flat-head Screwdriver ⑹ Perform the same for the other side. Protective Tape Cover Headlight Washer Nozzle LH TG-BZ-A03 Plastic Clip B × 4 Plastic Clip B × 8 Front Bumper Bolt × 6 Plastic Clip A × 2 < All models > ⑺ Remove the following components from the top of the front bumper: Six bolts, Two plastic clip A, and Four plastic clip B. ⑻ Remove the plastic clip B from the eight locations on the bottom of the bumper. TG-BZ-A04 5 Camera Wire Harness Connector (if equipped) ⑼ Disengage the 12 claws (left and right, six claws respectively), and remove the front bumper. CAUTION ⑴ In order to prevent the removed front bumper from being damaged, place and store it on protective sheets or blankets. ⑵ For vehicles equipped with a camera, be sure to disconnect the camera wire harness. Front Bumper Screw × 6 Claw × 8 Claw × 6 (same for the other side) TG-BZ-A05 Front Bumper Push 5. Removing the Front Grille from the Bumper ⑴ Remove the six screws. ⑵ Disengage the eight claws, and remove the original front grille from the front bumper. CAUTION In order to prevent the front bumper parts from being damaged, perform the instructions on pro- tective sheets or blankets. (Do the same through- out the rest of the procedure) Front Grille (Original) Claw TG-BZ-B01 < Vehicles without a camera > N O T E The removed original front grille will not be reused. Camera Wire Harness Clip × 2 Screw × 2 Camera Assembly < Vehicles equipped with a camera > ⑶ Remove the two clips that fasten the camera wire harness. ⑷ Remove the two screws and the camera assembly from the original front grille. N O T E The two screws removed from the camera assem- bly and the original front grille will not be reused. Front Grille (Original) TG-BZ-B02 6 < Vehicles without a camera > 3Screw×2 2Camera Cover Guide Camera Wire Harness Clip × 2 3Screw × 2 6. Installing the Camera or Camera Cover < Vehicles without a camera > ⑴ Install the camera cover included in the package to the Sport Grille with the two new screws and one guide. Tightening torque: 1.1 N･m ±0.2 (10 in-lbs ±1) CAUTION Use the two new screws and camera cover included in the product package. 1Sport Grille Guide Camera Assembly TG-BZ-B03 < Vehicles equipped with a camera > ⑴ Fasten the camera assembly to the Sport Grille with the two new screws and one guide. Tightening torque: 1.1 N･m ±0.2 (10 in-lbs ±1) CAUTION Use the two new screws included in the product package. ⑵ Fasten the camera wire harness to the Sport Grille with the two clips. Screw × 6 Front Bumper 7. Installing the Sport Grille ⑴ Attach the Sport Grille to the front bumper, and engage the eight claws. ⑵ Fasten the Sport Grille with the six screws. CAUTION Claw × 8 1Sport Grille Camera Wire Harness Connector (if equipped) Click Claw TG-WD-B04 Claw × 6 ･ (13.3 inch×lbs ± 2.7) 8. Restoring the Front Bumper ⑴ Reinstall the removed front bumper to the vehicle, and fasten it with the 12 claws. CAUTION ⑴ Prior to pushing and engaging the front bumper claws, make sure that all the claws are at the correct locations. Otherwise, the claws may be damaged when pushed. ⑵ For vehicles equipped with a camera, be sure to reconnect the camera wire harness. Front Bumper (same for the other side) TG-BZ-C01 7 Plastic Clip B × 4 Plastic Clip B × 8 Front Bumper Bolt × 6 Plastic Clip A × 2 ⑵ Fasten the top of the front bumper with the following components: Six bolts, Two plastic clip A, and Four plastic clip B. ⑶ Fasten the bottom of the front bumper with the plastic clip B at the eight locations. <Vehicles equipped with headlight washers> Top View Claw Cover Headlight Washer Nozzle LH TG-BZ-C02 < Vehicles equipped with headlight washers > ⑷ Pull out the headlight washer nozzle, attach the cover to the nozzle, and engage the claw. ⑸ Perform the same for the other side. TG-BZ-C03 8 Front Bumper Plastic Clip B Fender Liner Plastic Clip A × 4 < Vehicles equipped with fog lights and sensors > ⑹ Create an opening by partially detaching the front bumper and fender liner so that your hand can access the fog light, and reconnect both fog light connector LH and sensor connector LH. ⑺ Perform the same for the other side. CAUTION ⑴ Be extremely careful not to injure your hands or arms when reconnecting the connectors. ⑵ Confirm the orientation of the fog light connector, and securely connect it until a click sound can be heard. Failure to do so may <Vehicles equipped with fog lights and sensors> Sensor Connector LH Fog Light LH Fog Light Connector LH Front Bumper Plastic Clip × 3 TG-BZ-C04 cause the fog light to remain off due to poor connector connection. < All models > ⑻ Fasten the front bumper to the vehicle with the plastic clips A (x 4) and B (x 1). ⑼ Perform the same for the other side. This sensor harness is for front side radar. US&Canada: Without this equipment EU: With this equipment SBR will export the Sport Grille to SOA & SE. 9. Restoring the Front Upper Cover ⑴ Attach the front upper cover to the vehicle, and fasten it with the three plastic clips. Front Upper Cover Plastic Clip × 2 TG-BZ-C05 10. Restoring the Air Intake Duct ⑴ Attach the air intake duct, and fasten it with the two plastic clips. Air Intake Duct TG-BZ-C06 9 10 Inspection after Installation Revision History Version Summary of Changes Revision Date △00 Original version January 2023 ⑴ Remove all the protective tape. ⑵ Follow the instructions in the service manual. ⑶ For vehicles equipped the the multi-view monitor system, calibration is required. Refer to the service manual for the instructions on how to calibrate the system, and carry out the calibration. ⑴ Check that the fog lights come on and stay illuminated. ⑵ Check that camera views are correctly shown on the multifunction display. ⑶ Double-check that the plastic clips, bolts or parts are not loose.
