Please be advised, a limited number of early-production 2015MY Legacy and Outback models may arrive with up to 6 identification labels which must be removed during the vehicle appearance / get-ready procedure prior to delivery to the customer. The labels are located (one each) on each door trim panel (front and rear) and one on each end of the instrument panel as shown in the photographs below.
Please be advised, a limited number of early‐production 2015MY Legacy and Outback models may arrive with up to 6 identification labels which must be removed during the vehicle appearance / get‐ready procedure prior to delivery to the customer. The labels are located (one each) on each door trim panel (front and rear) and one on each end of the instrument panel as shown in the photographs below.
Please remove these labels CAREFULLY using an adhesive remover or mild solvent which has been confirmed as being safe for use on plastics. We have received reports of a citrus‐based, eco‐friendly product called “De‐Solv‐it.” available at most major retailers which has provided favorable results. Any scraping of the labels or residual adhesive to remove them from the trim is not recommended due to the risk of scratching the plastic.
Only a limited number of early‐production vehicles are affected. A running change in production has discontinued use of these identification labels.
