NUMBER: 12-245-23 DATE: 08/21/23 APPLICABILITY: 2019-22MY Ascent SUBJECT: Rubbing-Type Sound from Gear Selector Cover INTRODUCTION: This bulletin announces the repair procedure for a rubbing-type sound that can be heard from the side of the console box when it comes in contact with a passenger’s knee or when the gear selector is moved. This is caused by the fitment between the gear selector cover and the console box. If this sound is duplicated the gear selector cover will require replacement.
