DESCRIPTION: 2024 Ascent Wireless Charger

Engage Parking Brake.
Turn vehicle OFF.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal using a 10mm socket/ratchet.
NOTE: If equipped, disconnect eyelet cable only.

Use panel removal tool to remove rubber mat and plastic tray and discard.

Use panel removal tool to remove console cover. (Removing shift knob is optional.)

Disconnect console power connection.

Locate the pre-wired connector just below the USB outlets.

Using a wire hook or equivalent (not sharp), release the breakaway tape from the connector. Be careful not to damage any wires.

Gently pull the pre-wired connector up and out via the blank terminating connector loop.

Disconnect and discard the blank terminating connector.

Route the included harness down through the large opening and up around to the pre-wired connector.

Plug included harness into pre-wired connector.

Wrap connector in foam tape.

Tie up excess harness, trim the tie wrap, then tuck down in open cavity.

Tuck excess harness back in the cubby hole.

Leave about 4 inches of harness out.

Reconnect console power connector.

Reinstall console cover.
(NOTE: Wireless Charger will not seat without this cover back in place.)

Connect wireless charger.

Align tabs and push down on Wireless Charger to seat.

Align tabs and push down on Wireless Charger to seat.

After all the connections are complete, re-connect the vehicle’s negative battery cable. Using a 10mm socket/torque wrench, tighten the 10mm nut to 7.5 Nm +/- 2 Nm (0.76 Kgf-m +/- 0.2 Kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lbs +/- 1.5 ft-lbs).

Function Check
Place car in ACC or ON mode.
Ensure wireless charger indicator light illuminates in white.
