1 Perform Calibration
Inspection
1. Perform a simple calibration of the uncalibrated camera.
Refer to Multi-View Monitor (Diagnostics) > Work Support
Uncalibrated camera are indicated with “! “ is displayed on the view screen.
Refer to MultiView Monitor (Diagnostics) > Overview > Reference
2. Clear the memory of [Front & Side Camera/Multi View Monitor] using the SUBARU
SELECT Monitor.
Refer to Common (Diagnostics)>Memory Clear
3. Using the SUBARU SELECT monitor, read the DTCs for [Front & Side Camera/Multiview
Monitor].
Refer to Multi View Monitor (Diagnostics) > Diag Code (DTC)
Check Is DTC B2D11 displayed? (Current malfunction)
Yes Replace the camera CU. Entertainment & Monitoring>Control Unit
No Calibration was not performed.
ADDITIONAL WORK PROCEDURES REQUIRED WHEN REPLACING THE MUTIVIEW
CONTROL MODULE.
The following information is supplied in the Subaru Service Manual. The additional steps have been
outlined below in RED. Refer to STIS: Body & Electrical/WIRING SYSTEM > ENTERTAINMENT
& MONITORING > Control Unit > INSTALLATION
1. MULTIVIEW CONTROL MODULE
1. Install the Multiview Control Unit.
2. Install the center information display assembly. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT &
MONITORING > Cockpit Display > INSTALLATION
3. Install the center grille ventilation assembly center. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER > Air Vent
Grille > INSTALLATION > CENTER GRILLE ASSEMBLY
4. Connect the ground terminal to the battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS > NOTE >
BATTERY
5. When the multiview control unit has been replaced, perform the following procedures:
• Models equipped WITHOUT the 4 cameras.
1. Switch the ignition switch from OFF to ON. Wait at least 2 seconds. Switch the
ignition switch OFF. Switch the ignition switch ON.
2. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the “Front & Side Camera/Multi View
Monitor” customizing information.

• Models equipped the WITH the 4 cameras.
1. Switch the ignition switch from OFF to ON. Wait at least 2 seconds. Switch the
ignition switch OFF. Switch the ignition switch ON.
2. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, select “Carrying over Calibrationdata when
replacing the Camera ECU” selection in the “Work Support” menu for the “Front
& Side Camera/Multi View Monitor” and perform the operations displayed on
the screen. Ref. to 360-degree Surround View Monitor/Multi View Monitor
(DIAGNOSTICS) > Work Support.
NOTE: Data transfer is a procedure to write the automatically backed-up
calibration data of each camera in a new Multiview control assembly.
3. Read the “Front & Side Camera/Multi View Monitor” customizing information. Ref.
to 360-degree Surround View Monitor/Multi View Monitor (DIAGNOSTICS) >
