INTRODUCTION:
This service bulletin announces availability of the cap portion (a.k.a. spark plug boot) as a service
part separate from the complete ignition coil assembly. If the cap portion as shown in the illustrations
below is damaged during removal or replacement, it is no longer necessary to replace the complete
ignition coil assembly.
PART INFORMATION:
The part number for the new CAP- IGNITION COIL is 22489AA040.
