INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this bulletin is to announce a change to the specification of the valve springs used in the FB engine. The new springs have different color paint marks to help identify their application.

Important Installation Notes:
- When installing the new type valve spring, the end with the paint mark always must face upward and be against the valve spring retainer.
- Whenever a failed valve spring is identified, all sixteen(16) springs must be replaced AS A SET.
