Completely remove rear left and right headrests. Refer to Owner’s Manual for detailed instructions under “Head restraint height adjustment” section.

Raise but do not remove rear center headrest by pulling it upward.

If needed, expose LATCH anchors by unfolding cover flaps.

Detach center seatbelt buckle using vehicle key or adjacent seatbelt tongue plate. Rear center seatbelt is stowed in the recess of the ceiling. Refer to Owner’s Manual for detailed instructions under “Unfastening the seatbelt –> Rear center seatbelt on Outback” section.

Find center headrest hole in Pet-friendly Padded Seat Protector and hang it over the raised center headrest by passing it through the hole.

Ensure the rear center passenger seatbelt guide loop on top of the seat aligns with the hole in the cover.

Wrap the cover around and over the top of both sides of the rear seat.

Align all headrest holes as shown and then lower center headrest.

Locate the 4 inserts on the back of the Pet-friendly Padded Seat Protector. [Note: Seat cover is folded to show inserts.]

Position the seat cover and tuck bottom center inserts between the seat back and seating surface.

Tuck side edge of the seat cover into the plastic trim of the seat. Starting at the front and working your way to the back. (Repeat for the other side)

Locate Velcroยฎ sections at the bottom of the seat.

Locate the fabric tabs on the sides of the Pet-friendly Padded Seat Protector. Gently insert the fabric tab between the seat and the door weatherseal. Slide it back and forth until it settles into the opening and push it in until it disappears. Repeat for the second tab and then repeat for the other side. Note: There is one fabric tab above and below the door-open sensor. While inserting tabs, do not push into sensor.

Ensure seatbelt is on the top of the cover. Repeat for the other side.

Locate the retracted seatbelt by the ceiling, pass it through the guide loop and reconnect to the center seatbelt buckle in the seat. Refer to Owner’s Manual for detailed instructions under “Unfastening the seatbelt –> Rear center seatbelt on Outback”

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1.Using a large washer without agitator, wash the cover in COLD, using a mild all-purpose
cleaner (suitable for fabrics). DO NOT USE BLEACH or HARSH DETERGENTS.
2. Rinse the cover twice (2x) in COLD to remove any residual cleaner.
3. Hang and allow to air dry.
