NUMBER: 05-82-21 DATE: 02/15/21 APPLICABILITY: 2017-21MY Impreza SUBJECT: Front Strut Dust Cover- Design Change INTRODUCTION: This bulletin announces a design change made to the front strut dust cover to address a rubbing -type sound concern. The inner diameter of the lower portion of the cover may interfere with the strut assembly stopper plate while driving when the strut compresses and cause the sound. PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION: The new Dust Covers were incorporated into production starting with the following VINs: • 4-Door Models: M3603755 • 5-Door Models: M3707901 PART INFORMATION: The part number for the new Dust Cover is 20322FL00B. REMINDER: Always order the most up-to-date replacement parts based on the specific VIN being repaired. This includes but is not limited to important SAFETY precautions, proper inspection criteria, necessary special tools, required processes and related one-time-use parts needed for a complete and lasting repair.
