This change was incorporated to enhance the fit and appearance of the weatherstrip between the outer door panels and window glass. If a customer reports any of these experiences with the outer door weatherstrips, replace the affected part(s). EXAMPLES: DEFORMED LIP EXCESSIVE GAP PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION: The new outer weatherstrips have been incorporated into the production starting with VIN PH449418. Replacement parts produced during July of 2021 and later incorporate the design change. Reading the Production Date Code: • The 1st and 2nd digits of the date code show the production year. Always refer to the applicable Service Manual and review the full requirements of the repair being performed.
