INTRODUCTION: This bulletin announces a change made to optimize the sealing of the pressure switch connector used on a metal refrigerant pipe on the models above. The sealing capability of the connector may have been compromised during manufacture and result in a refrigerant leak. This condition has been determined to primarily effect vehicles produced during January and February 2019. SERVICE PROCEDURE / INFORMATION: REMINDER: Customer satisfaction and retention starts with performing quality repairs. The service procedures for replacing this A/C pipe remain unchanged. Always refer to the applicable Service Manual and review the full requirements of the repair being performed. The Service Manual procedures contain information critical to performing an effective repair the first time and every time.
