SERVICE PROCEDURE / INFORMATION

CAREFULLY inspect the 5 digit ID located on the front of the Master Cylinder to determine if it is a “new” or “old” part.  If the ID is: FJ120 or FJ130, it is a “new” part.

If there is a white dot paint marking on the Vacuum Booster, it is a “new” part.

NOTE:  It is especially important to verify the ID of both parts on vehicles with VINs found to be within the Transition Period.  Whenever unable to positively identify either component, replace BOTH as a set using the “new” part number parts.

Follow the Service procedure in the applicable Service Manual for replacement of the Master Cylinder and Vacuum Booster assemblies.
