INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PART NUMBER: E101SSJ020
DESCRIPTION:
Forester Wilderness Sill Plate
KIT CONTENTS:
1. Front Side Sill Plate (2).
2. Front Sill Plate Template (2).
3. Squeegee (1).
4. Alcohol Wipes (2).
TOOLS REQUIRED:
Soft lint-free Microfiber Cloth
PREPARATION – BEFORE INSTALLATION:
1. This product should be installed with proper installation tools.
2. Install this product while observing all warnings and precautions stated in this instruction booklet.
3. VERY IMPORTANT: Thoroughly wash vehicle with Soap and Water.
4. Parts storage should be flat at room temperature and in a clean dry place. Care should be taken to avoid a dusty environment.
Notes to the Installer
1. Read the entire installation instructions prior to beginning the installation of the accessory.
2. Ensure that the vehicle is properly protected in the area that the accessory is to be installed.
3. To prevent vehicle damage, never place tools on top of painted surfaces, seats, dash pad, console or floor carpet / mat.
4. Always wear appropriate safety gear to include gloves and eye protection when required.

Alcohol
Thoroughly wash vehicle with a soft lint-free cloth. Wipe front sill area where the Sill Plate will be installed with alcohol wipes. Allow the area to dry completely.

Dry Fit
Cut out supplied templates.Line up edges of the plastic panel with the lines on the template. Use masking tape to secure template into place. Locate front Sill Plate into place using the template as shown above.
NOTE: Sill Plate should remain on flat surface only, not on radius.

Separate Liner
Remove liner from Sill Plate. After removal of part liner, to prevent contamination, limit touching adhesive side of Sill Plate by handling on the edges.

Sill Plate Alignment
Start by aligning the edge of Sill Plate with the template as shown. Make sure the top edge of the Sill Plate is aligned with the plastic panel and lay into position.
NOTE: If mislocated, lift straight up and reposition into correct location.

Adhere To Surface
Starting in the center, squeegee the top surface of the Sill Plate onto the surface of sill area as shown, using firm, overlapping squeegee strokes. Carefully remove template.
*(Repeat Steps 1-8 for right side of vehicle.)
Care and Cleaning
Wash side sill plates with warm soapy water as needed, (do not use other chemical based cleaners).
Visual Check
Make sure all edges are firmly adhered.
