SOA is pleased to announce additional applications to our line-up of remanufactured 580 series CVT transmission program. Supplies are now available. Effective immediately, retailers are required to use a remanufactured unit when the transmission requires major repair or overhaul, except in the case of a “new” and “in-stock” vehicle in which case retailers should still use a “new” transmission.

Note: Please refer to TSB 03-67-12R for more information about remanufactured CVT transmissions.

Packaging:

The existing 580 CVT returnable container will continue to be used for these applications. This container is easily distinguishable by the green stripe on the top and insert sections of the container. Retailers should make sure they are using the correct returnable packaging for the correct style of transmission (top, bottom, insert).
