SUBJECT: | DTC B2350 for SRVD System |
INTRODUCTION
This bulletin provides a new repair procedure for when the SRVD warning lamp is illuminated and DTC B2350 is stored in memory. The cause has been identified as a communication error between the SRVD radar units and the CAN transceiver triggered by a voltage drop which occurs during engine cranking.
COUNTERMEASURE IN PRODUCTION:
New radar assemblies have been incorporated into production starting with the following VINs:
Legacy: F3062279
Outback: F3328383

The radar assembly part number is the same for both left and right-hand units.
SERVICE PROCEDURE / INFORMATION:
Follow the Service Manual diagnostic procedure for B2350. Once the related harness and connector checks have been completed and all are confirmed to be OK, replace BOTH SRVD system radar sensors as a set following the procedure outlined in the applicable Service Manual.
