INTRODUCTION:
This bulletin announces availability of new Front Stabilizer Link assemblies equipped with a new dust boot material having enhanced durability and grease retention characteristics.
PART INFORMATION:
REMINDER: Always order the most up-to-date replacement parts based on the specific VIN being repaired.
The new stabilizer link assembly part numbers are:
- 20420AL001 RIGHT Side
- 20420AL011 LEFT Side
SERVICE PROCEDURE / INFORMATION:
REMINDER: Customer satisfaction and retention starts with performing quality repairs.
Examples of cracked dust boots are shown here. If damaged boot(s) are confirmed, replace the affected stabilizer link assembly following the procedure in the applicable Service Manual.
The service procedures for Front Stabilizer Link replacement remain unchanged. Always refer to the applicable Service Manual and review the full requirements of the repair being performed. The Service Manual procedures contain information critical to performing an effective repair the first time, every time.
